Happy Client Stories...
When my wife told me she wanted a photographer to capture our daughter’s birth, I was completely against it. To be honest I couldn’t think of anything worse! I thought it would be completely invading, and awkward. But my wife went ahead and booked Lacey in any way. I never met Lacey, as I work away in the mines. So my wife planned everything, and just told me the day of labour to contact her when we were in the delivery suit. I had no plans to either, but Tilly had already let Lacey know she was at the hospital while labouring. So Lacey eventually rocked up, and we checked with Tilly if she still wanted to invite her in; which she did. And I’m so glad she did! Lacey was professional, out of sight and out of mind! I forgot she was in the room! No flashing of the camera, or her getting in the way. Eventually when all was over Lacey quietly let herself out, and thanked us for letting her be a part of the birth. A few days later she came over to our home and displayed all the photos, and a video. The whole time I was fighting back tears! The only regret I have now is that we didn’t have Lacey out our son’s birth. But we will be having her again with our third. What she captured, is priceless and I would pay top dollar without blinking an eye! You get what you pay for, and Lacey still went above and beyond! Thanks again Lacey, you’re a champ!
We had Lacey document our homebirth in Jan this year. She fitted in perfectly… very discreet and not in my face trying to get the perfect shot all the time. The photos we received were absolutely amazing and captured the labour and birth of our daughter perfectly. We will treasure our photos for many years to come. Thank you, Lacey xxx
Best decision I made having Lacey to photograph the birth of my bub. She was with me the very first minute of my labour, and stayed with us almost 24 hours of labour! Lacey did an excellent job with all the photos captured all memories that we will forever cherish. Also my heartfelt thank you for being my support person and for all your help and advice. That day wouldn’t be as easy as it seems without you there!
Thank Yoooou heaps!
Having the birth of our 3rd daughter documented by Lacey was the best decision we could have made. My daughter was born at home and Lacey intuitively captured the natural feel of the birth in which I labored with my husband’s support while our children went about their day cared for by their Nanna.
Lacey knew exactly what moments to capture. Her images of my children’s expressions of ‘pure joy’ as they watched their sister being born where incredibly moving, and they were moments I was unable to see for myself at the time. The magical photos of my daughter being born and her first moments as she opened her eyes are images that will always evoke strong feelings of love and joy for us and take us right back to that moment.
Lacey’s presence was totally unobtrusive which was perfect for a birth and she took care to use natural light rather than flash photography, making her presence even more discreet. I was barely aware of Lacey while I labored and birthed my baby, as were my midwives and family.
We will be forever glad that Lacey was able to attend the birth and take such spectacular images for us at one of the most important events for our family. Thank you Lacey xx
Can’t recommend Lacey enough! She was professional, kind and helpful throughout my whole labour 🙂 even though last minute I had to get a c section she went out of her way to let my partner capture the photos of my sons birth and we couldn’t be more grateful. Loved all my sessions I have had with you and can’t wait until my next newborn session. love all your work xoxo
Lacey the job you did for Krystal & Ben was not only beautiful, you are a beautiful person to have in the delivery room. A grateful mum.
